Is Ekaay a doctor?
No. Ekaay explains health information in plain words. It does not diagnose illness or prescribe medicine; a qualified doctor makes those decisions. Ekaay can help you prepare for that conversation.
Which languages can I use?
English, Hindi and other Indian languages, as well as Arabic. Leave the language on Auto and Ekaay replies in the language you use, or choose one from the list. Voice replies depend on the voices your device has.
How does voice work?
Tap the microphone and speak; Ekaay writes down your question and answers it. Switch on voice replies to hear the answer. Your browser asks for permission before it uses the microphone.
How many questions can I ask for free?
Four, without signing up. A free account, confirmed with a code sent by SMS to your mobile number, lets you keep asking every day on Essential. Plus adds advanced Ekaay.AI on your own records.
Why do you verify my mobile number?
To keep every account real and secure. We send a one-time code by SMS to your mobile number when you sign up or log in. There is no password to remember.
Is my information private?
Your HealthMatrix records are hosted in India, aligned with the DPDP Act 2023, and open to a doctor only after you approve with an OTP. Please don't include ID numbers or other private details in your questions.
What does it cost?
Essential is free and includes basic Ekaay.AI answers. Plus costs ₹400 a month per person and adds advanced Ekaay.AI on your own records, doctor consultations and pod screenings. Family, Senior Care and Community plans are available on request.
What should I do in an emergency?
Call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department straight away. Do not wait for an answer from Ekaay.
